Greetings Linwood Families,
This message is about the 2022/23 Parent Council at Linwood. I would like to start off by thanking our past members of council for their hard work and dedication to the students of Linwood. Their passion and commitment to the strong relationship between the school and parent community has helped create a warm and welcoming environment for staff and students alike. Because we have had many of our members holding positions move on we need to hold elections to determine our next Council in terms of those positions. This will take place in person at Linwood Public School on Tuesday, November 8th at 7pm in the Library. This is open to all parents who currently have a child attending Linwood. If you would like to know a little more about Parent Council in the WRDSB I have linked that information here. We will be looking to fill the following roles:
- Chair
- Secretary
- Treasurer
These are the elected positions but others may be a part of Council as members at large. If you have any questions please contact the Linwood Public School office.
